A crystal bracelet can be made of several different materials that only look related in a photo. The studio names each bead so you can choose the look without guessing what it is made of.
Colored glass and crystal
Many of the purple, yellow, pink, and blue beads are colored glass: amethyst-color glass, citrine-color glass, rose-quartz-color glass, and similar. They are glass in that color, not mined stones of the same name. Crystal beads are listed as crystal. Use the material line on the card, not the color alone.
Simulated pearl, shell, and wood
Simulated pearl has the soft luster people want from a pearl strand, and it is simulated, not a natural pearl. Shell, sandalwood, ebony, and maple are listed under their own materials. Those names are the material, not a color story.
Metal-tone spacers
Gold-tone, silver-tone, rose-gold-tone, and copper-tone spacers are metal accents for rhythm in the strand. They are tone descriptions. They are not a claim of solid gold or sterling unless the bead says that, and the current spacers do not.
How to use this while you design
Filter the library, read the material, then place the bead. If a name says “color glass” or “simulated,” that is the material you will receive. Design with that in mind in the bracelet studio.
